This ribbon is sold by the 10 yard roll & comes from a 50 yard roll. If you purchase more than 10 yards. you will get one continuous piece of ribbon whenever possible. 

Due to a shortage of flanges & cores. any orders less than 20 yards will come rolled without a core & flange. A band will be wrapped around the the ribbon (see pic 3) 20+ yards will come on a core & flange.
